Hello Everyone Im Eli and I'm 19 years old and this is my dog Remi.  She is a German Shepherd, I have had her for a little over a year now, she turned one last October. I watched her grow up to a one month old pup to a Year and a half young adult. Sadly, yesterday she ran away in our neighborhood  to the loud fireworks  and was missing for 16 hours, we went looking out for her until my mom got a call from a farmer saying that he found My Remi girl on the side of the road, and was beaten up pretty bad. Me and my mom rushed over and her left leg was bloody. We took her to the Vet, and they told us to come back later for more news and a plan. We got the call saying her back left hip was dislocated, had a broken femur, and a fractured tibia. We were told the expenses and what we can do. They said we need to see a specialist in Arroyo Grande, California. The overall cost of the procedure is costing me and my mom an estimated $5200, If we cant do the procedure we have to put her down or amputate her leg. It hurt all of us because Remi is such a good dog, the vets say she is still happy and wanting to get up and play fetch with me. I don't want to say goodbye to Remi because she is still just a young pup. She has been there for me when i needed it most and always cheered me up on my bad days. I want her to come home and be able to play fetch with her soon. A prayer works just as good as a donation if you guys dont have the money. Thankyou for reading and have a blessed day.
