It is with great sadness that we share that this fundraiser has been created in loving memory of Matthew Cerveny, who passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, November 27th.

Matthew is survived by his younger brother Mark, his life partner of nearly ten years, Danielle Butler, and their beloved German Shepards Sigroon and Axel, who were faithfully by his side and remain a cherished part of the home he helped build.

Together, Matthew and Danielle purchased a property in Northeast Ohio and created a life around their farm, lovingly known as Cluckin’ Around. Their farm quickly became a place of hard work, joy, and deep connection. When Matthew wasn’t working at Lincoln Electric, he could often be found fishing at the pond on their farm or “helping” with farm chores in his own unique and often humorous way.

Matthew brought warmth, laughter, and light to everyone who knew him. His absence will be felt beyond measure.

In the wake of Matthew’s passing, Danielle is facing not only the heartbreak of losing her partner, but also the challenge of maintaining the home and farm they built together. The funds raised through this GoFundMe will help cover memorial expenses, support the ongoing needs of Cluckin’ Around, and provide Danielle with stability as she navigates this incredibly difficult time.
