I'd like to start this off by saying this is my own fault; this is the result of an untimely injury, several doctor's visits, and uncontrolled spending of credit.
I'm ask for help in dealing with a credit card statement that I let spiral out of control. For context; I am employed, but an injury to my right eye in April led to me accruing a debt over the past couple months that I thought I could handle. Anyone who has used a Klarna credit card may know how this goes already.
In April, my right eye got an abrasion from an unknown source (likely culprit being high blood pressure). This resulted in me taking several days off, at the start of the week, to see a doctor. I only managed to work a single day of that week, which made me realize that I wouldn't have enough money to get to work (Uber/Lyft) or buy groceries until the week after next. I knew I had a Klarna credit card (I got it since I already used Klarna for Instacart), so I used that as a fall back until I could get paid. This was fine, but I learned that this card didn't work like regular bank credit cards; the monthly statements are paid in full, not in monthly payments.
The problem is that I, then, also used this card to order delivery (often) and used it to pay for ride to, and from, work that were more expensive than I'd normally pay. This was already a problem, but, my hours at work have been cut for the last few weeks, and last week (6/9/25) my injury re-opened, forcing me back to the doctor. With each visit costing $60, with reduced work hours, I had to rely on Klarna.
Right now, I'm look at a $894.68 statement for next month (I was forced to move payments from the current statement due to not having enough money after paying most of the statement). I'd like to ask for $300 in help as I'll still be making payments myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated in paying this off so I can close this account (Klarna) for good.
