Penny was diagnosed with esophageal cancer a few weeks ago, which is also believed to have caused an infection in her brain that made her lose mobility in both her left arm and leg. After the tumor doubling in size in just a week, she had it surgically removed. Once she’s done with a few weeks of physical therapy and antibiotics, she will be moving on to start chemotherapy treatment.
