In Loving Memory of Kevin Avery

Hello everyone, my name is Artasia Chambliss, the niece of Kevin Avery, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of The Avery Family. Our hearts are truly heavy as we face the loss of our beloved Kevin “Kevie” Avery, who recently lost his courageous battle with cancer. This marks our second family loss within just two months, and the pain has been unimaginable.

Kevie fought with everything he had — every single day, he held on with faith and determination, believing he could beat this. But God had other plans and called him home to rest.

If you knew Kevie, you knew his spirit was unforgettable. He was a fighter, a giver, and a joy to everyone around him. His laughter, warmth, and good nature made people feel at home instantly. Kevie’s genuine character and kind heart drew so many people close to him — turning friends into family everywhere he went.

Though Kevie did have life insurance, the coverage was limited due to his pre-existing condition and doesn’t come close to covering the many costs that come with cancer and final arrangements. So many friends and loved ones have reached out asking how they can help — this fundraiser is the best way to do so.
