Hi everyone, my sisters and I are putting together a GoFundMe on behalf of our mom, Rosario Ladcani.

 

If you’ve had the opportunity to meet our mom, you’ve gotten a glimpse of what it means to genuinely embody kindness, selflessness and compassion. She’s always been the first to make you feel like family the moment you walked into her home, ensuring you left with a happy belly and a warm heart. Her loving, nurturing energy is truly one of a kind–and it's what makes her the most incredible mother, friend, abuelita, and human being.

 

In 2020, our mom was diagnosed with stage 1 endometrial cancer.  At the time, treatment included having a total hysterectomy and quarterly cancer screenings following the surgery. After the surgery, her doctor proceeded with Kaiser’s “follow-up care protocol” as the method for screening potential risks of recurring cancer. After each check-up, our Mom was told she was cancer-free. Then, in February 2022, she started to feel various symptoms that Kaiser diagnosed as a UTI.

 

After weeks of worsening symptoms and several doctor and ER trips, the UTI diagnosis turned out to be cancer spreading and growing throughout her body. Our mom was then diagnosed with stage IV endometrial cancer. She began her first of six rounds of chemotherapy on March 21, 2022.

 

We are doing everything possible to support our mom during this uncertain time and keep her focused on her greatest strength– love. My sisters and I humbly request any assistance to raise the financial resources needed to get the best care possible for our mom. We hope that this will allow her to focus on peacefully healing and staying strong through chemotherapy and any other future treatment.
