On behalf of the Jimenez-Villeda family, it is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of Erik Jimenez-Villeda. On June 10th, 2023, Erik was returning home from a night out at the movies when he was involved in a fatal car accident, where he unfortunately lost his life at the age of 23. Erik was known as an amazing son, brother, friend, student, athlete, teammate, and coworker. Erik recently earned his bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the City College of New York. Erik had a strong work ethic, which allowed him to juggle multiple jobs, including his recently acquired job at the NYC School Construction Authority. Erik had connected with numerous people throughout the years and, for many, was a shining light in their lives.
