Hi, Some of you reading this know me and my husband and others may not, My name is Angel my husband Michael Goad is an amazing, loving and caring husband and father and one heck of a worker. He was in a horrible traffic accident on March 3 while out in California for work. He is currently in ICU at Scripps memorial hospital in La Jolla California, Luckily myself and one of his sisters were able to fly out to be by his side. At this time there are a lot of different trauma and neuro doctors by his side and taking the best care of him as they can. Due to the type of injury he has sustained he is currently in a medically induced coma, to try and help relax his brain and bring down the swelling. After speaking with his neurologist I am told this is going to be a very long and hard road to recovery once he is able to be woken. While Michael and I do have some funds around for some of these expenses, we are seeking a little extra help with costs as I will be off of work as well as Michael during this hospital stay and this unknown recovery road we will eventually begin going down. After talking with his boss and among our family we thought a go fund me would be a good option to try at this time. Thank you in advance for any support, good thoughts, vibes and prayers.

Edit: At this time things have drastically changed in what we thought would be a very long and hard recovery, after having multiple meetings with the trauma and neuro teams, there is not anything more they can do. Due to the extent of the damage and the swelling on his brain. I am working with the teams at the hospital for his final preparations as we so heartbreakingly have no other options than to prepare our selves to say goodbye for now. Any donations received or that may be received will go to a memorial service as well as helping out as we get adjusted to our unexpected and extremely unfortunate next chapter.
