On April 10th, 2016, our community was shaken by the news of a terrible accident and the loss of Lauren Owens, Samantha Owens, and her newborn son, Liam. As we grieve, we must also remember that in addition to these tragic losses, there is now a family facing a terrible uphill climb in the coming months.
This campaign, organized by the Clarksville High School Class of 2012, aims to defray any upcoming costs for the Owens family. All donations will be presented to the family along with the thoughts, prayers, and support of the Clarksville community.
While we want to help the family overcome the mountain of expenses that they now face, we also wish to remember the beautiful lives and cherish the fond memories we have of Samantha, Lauren, and Liam. If you would like, please share a memory along with your donation, and we will see to it that your sentiment is passed along to the family.
We are all tied together by our hometown, but we are called to be much stronger for each other in times of despair and tragedy. In times like this, we are less of a community, and more of a family.
