Help Dan Warner Fight
Donation protected
Hey everyone - wanted to update you all to let you know that Dan, Melissa and Jack made it home from Utah on Thursday! Dan is doing well physically and cognitively but still struggles to speak. He sees his doctor this week for a follow up and referral for continued therapy. They are so happy to finally be home and need continued prayers for Dan’s ongoing recovery! About a third of the donations were used for their flight home. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity! This will help ease the burden of continued medical costs as the family navigates Dan’s recovery.
This fundraiser is to help take some financial burden of unexpected costs off Dan and his family.
On June 10th, Dan had a massive stroke while on a family trip out West and is at the University of Utah Craig H. Nielsen Rehabilitation Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. After a life saving surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain, Dan is doing better physically and working hard in rehabilitation but is still not able to speak. He has a great team of medical specialists working with him. They are not sure how long he will have to be in Utah and away from their other children. They have a long road ahead of them that is unpredictable. Melissa and their 15 year old son are staying nearby in a hotel assisting with his rehab daily. Many people have reached out to Melissa wanting to help. We know how much Dan is loved and how many people he has touched in his life therefore, can we all pull together to help take some financial burden off of Dan and Melissa during this difficult time? Donations will help with lodging, food and transportation while they are in Utah, so they don’t have to worry about finances and can concentrate on his rehab and getting him home as soon as possible.
