Hi! My name is Jessica, and I will be a first-generation college student. I have been accepted into my dream school, the University of Southern California, and being able to attend would be a life-changing opportunity.
I plan to major in accounting and/or finance, fields that have reflected my passion for math since I was a little girl. USC will allow me to develop the skills and knowledge I need to pursue a career, achieve financial independence, and make my parents proud of the journey I've worked so hard to start.
Unfortunately, the cost of attending USC is very high. Even with careful planning, tuition, housing, dining, and other expenses add up quickly. I am raising funds to help cover these costs so I can focus on my studies and make the most of this opportunity.
I am planning to work over the summer and during college, and I am committed to contributing as much as I can toward my education. I am setting a GoFundMe goal of $60,000 to help reduce the financial burden of tuition, housing, and school-related expenses. Any donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference and bring me closer to achieving my goal.
If I am unable to raise enough funds to attend USC, I will attend another university. My goal is to graduate college debt-free. In that case, all funds raised will go directly toward my college education and other related expenses.
Attending college is a privilege and incredibly important to me. Your support, whether it's donating or sharing this fundraiser, truly helps. Thank you for helping me take this step toward achieving my dreams.
