On February 18th, the Carroll family lost a piece of their hearts forever.
Justin Carroll was diagnosed with Epilepsy in August of 2018, and on Monday morning after having suffered a seizure at home, Justin had a fall and heartbreakingly was never able to regain consciousness. He was 27 years old.
He was a beloved son, brother, nephew, friend and soon to be first time uncle to his best friends new baby on the way. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in our hearts. Please consider donating to the Carroll family as they take some time away from work to grieve their tremendous loss as a family. Any contributions are immensely appreciated, and will be of great help to this beautiful family as they ease back in to a new chapter of their lives.
UPDATE: It is with a very heavy heart that I re-post this Go Fund Me for the Carroll family with some important updates- first of all, what we thought was the cause of Justin’s passing turned out not to be the case. We thought because of Justin’s history with Epilepsy and Grand Mal seizures that he had had a seizure, however after a thorough medical examination we now know that the cause of his passing was a massive heart attack in his left anterior descending artery, also know as the “widow maker”. The widow maker is an informal term that means 100% blockage of that particular artery.
In addition to losing Justin not even 2 months ago, the Carroll family lost another huge part of their family last night, their beautiful Mor Mor (Grandma). She will be so missed, but we are grateful she is no longer in pain and that she can now be with Justin. These two were loved fiercely, and their absence has left the Carroll family absolutely heartbroken.
Please please please consider donating, anything helps. It takes a village❤️
