Hi family and friends,
My name is Stephanie Alcantara, I am a rising junior at the College at Brockport. I am a communications major with a recent minor in sociology and spanish language. I have been accepted to study abroad this summer in Brazil at Mackenzie Presbyterian University to learn about the economic institutions and business competencies in Brazil. This will allow me to see first hand how businesses grow in numbers and what methods they use to stay on the competitive market. During my time there, I will also be exposed to the portuguese language and step out of my comfort zone and enjoy a new culture.
Since I was a child, one of my many goals has been to travel the world, Brazil is only the first step. Donations will go towards flights, and my school tuition.
