In Loving Memory of Miguel Perez
Donation protected
This past Tuesday, May 13th, we faced the sudden and heartbreaking loss of a cherished member of our family and community, Miguel Perez at just 50 years of age. Miguel was a devoted husband to Reme, and a loving father to Chelsy and Bryan.
Miguel was selfless - he was constantly working so that he could care for others. He worked at Jason’s Deli for the past 16 years, started off as a dishwasher and worked his way up to being a manager. His passion was giving his all to his family and community. Unfortunately, he faced some complications related to his heart in December of 2023. After an initial hospitalization, he was able to recuperate and was doing well on his medications for the past year-and-a-half. On Tuesday afternoon last week, he was changing the brakes on his car. He was able to finish one side and before finishing the other when he was found unconscious outside by a bystander. Once in the hands of paramedics, they were unable to locate a pulse and amidst life-saving actions, he was pronounced to no longer be alive.
Miguel immigrated from Santa Isabel, Cholula, Puebla, México with the hopes of a better life. He worked countless hours and extra jobs to ensure his family was taken care of. Once he had children, he emphasized the utility of education. He even supported them through university so they would not have to worry about the financial stress.
Miguel loved technology, always keeping up with the latest Apple products and social media. He loved to send his friends TikToks or posts on Facebook he found funny. His laughter was contagious, and his smile brightened any room. Most of all, he loved music. He could be found mixing CDs, using DJ apps and listening to a wide range of music in his free time.
This fund was created to help offset funeral costs associated with his passing and to provide some financial support for the Perez family over the next couple of months. We appreciate your gifts and support ♥️
