Diagnosed with Parkinson’s

My name is Patricia, and I am asking for help, so I do not lose my home. Let me share a little bit about myself. I am 84 years old but young at heart. Never married and have no children. Live in the Capistrano Beach area and have for over forty years. I had a wonderful home in Bali that I traveled to frequently but had to stop after I had been tricked by people I trusted, and at that time, I had also lost my house in Bali and Capo Beach. Since then, I have been living off the proceeds from my house and a small ($335/mo) social security check. I supplemented my meager monthly expenses by selling items I had brought back from Indonesia out of the back of my car to beachgoers at Capo Beach. In 2018, Capo Beach was destroyed by a big storm, temporarily (I thought) suspending my beach sales. I tried to continue my endeavors at another location but could not find another suitable place to continue due to my physical limitations. Fast forward to 2020, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. The disease is advancing faster than my doctors initially told me, and I am scared. I fear what this disease will put me through but more importantly, the medical costs and treatments are draining my savings faster than I had expected. Without the additional income from my beach sales and the increased living expenses, I will be out of a home in less than a year.
I have no family, and my friend circle is small. I have never had to ask anyone for help, which is quite embarrassing. Until I can get through the confusing maze we call government assistance, I am pleading with my community for any help.
If you are unable to donate, please share my story.
Sent with sweet dreams of paradise.
