hey there, thanks for coming by and showing love to WoWoah.

 

Woah got hit by a car in front of the house in Oakland on Fri Mar 25. It happened so fast. He ran out into the street and got hit by a big red truck speeding down our street. The truck didn't stop.

 

Woah is a trooper, but he definitely suffered from the hit. He had two major wounds on his leg, which were stitched up & bandaged. His paw pad is completely scraped off, and he lost one of his claw nails. He is still suffering from bruised lungs and internal abdominal bleeding.

 

If you have it in your heart, please send some funds to help Woah with a speedy recovery. It was a total accident; he's only 8 months old-- a puppy still learning and growing.

 

I didn't expect this emergency, and the vet bill was pretty expensive. So far it's at $5,191. I'm hoping to raise at least half that to cover costs. I will have to keep bringing him to the vet to get his bandages changed for the next few weeks. So really, anything helps. (even pet insurance suggestions, so I can at least have something set up in the future). 

 

I appreciate any help you send over to help out WoWoah. He's my son, and it was horrible seeing him get hit by a car. I know he is traumatized, as I am too. Luckily, he is still alive and has another chance at life.
