Wounded Warrior’s Internship

I need your help to finish my education! I have been invited to participate in an internship this summer in Washington DC! It is the opportunity of a life, but the problem I am having is: it’s unpaid.
<Background> In 2013, while serving as a veterinary care specialist in the US Army, I was injured, and was medically evacuated from that combat zone in the Middle East. Because of the injury I sustained, and further complications I have had from that, I had to find a new path in life. In January of 2014, I began working on a Masters Degree in Public Health.
4 major surgeries and 5 years later, I am finally close to getting my degree! The final requirement to graduate the program is to have a field experience project (in this case an internship). I have received a fantastic opportunity to intern with a Major government agency learning about my passion/degree field: Infections Disease and Food Science.
The donations I receive will be put toward transportation and housing. Thank you in advance for your help and generosity!
