Never did I think I was going to have to write this post..

As my fingers shake on the keyboard and tears shed down my cheeks, I will attempt to summarize what this campaign is about.

My name is Mabel, the beautiful lady in that picture is my mom, Yenny.

If you have ever met my mom in person you know how WONDERFUL she is. She has laid down her life daily for her family daily and oh, done it so well!

But if you have never met her, I'll say this - she has thing thing about her hands (you know that thing moms have) that takes away any pain, she has the best advice on absolutely ANY topic, she has this thing about her - its a never ending passion and strength for prayer. She loves hard, and she loves well. I created this fundraiser as a way to help her heal.

You know when you have a mom as great as mine, you would do ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING to not see them in pain. This is WHY I'm doing this..

My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer last month, the same weekend my little sister gave birth. My family and I moved quickly and have looked into all ways available to us to help her. If you know anything about cancer, you know pancreatic is not one you want to have - they tell you survival rates are slim to none and that it moves quick. That is why we have found alternative ways to help her faith journey into healing. Apart from a full lifestyle and diet change, and the chemo options, we have found a cancer center that helps patients like her heal. We are believing that GOD is already healing her and that He WANTS to heal her fully. In order to steer her in that direction, I am coming to this community to ask for help into funding this healing opportunity for my mom and join my sisters, my dad and I to provide her all the resources to heal. Even though we are covering a lot of the expenses, is just not enough and medical expenses pile up quick! So I would ask for your support and question - If this was your mom... would you donate?

Con mis dedos temblando en el teclado y lágrimas cayendo por mis mejillas, intentaré resumir de qué trata esta campaña.

Mi nombre es Mabel, y la hermosa dama en esa foto es mi mamá, Yenny.

Si alguna vez has conocido a mi mamá en persona, sabes lo MARAVILLOSA que es. Ella ha entregado su vida diariamente por su familia, ¡y lo ha hecho tan bien!

Pero si nunca la has conocido, te diré esto: tiene esa cosa especial con sus manos (ya sabes, eso que tienen las mamás) que quita cualquier dolor, tiene el mejor consejo sobre absolutamente CUALQUIER tema, y tiene esa pasión y fuerza inagotable para la oración. Ama con intensidad, y ama bien. Creé esta recaudación de fondos como una manera de ayudarla a sanar.

Sabes que cuando tienes una mamá tan increíble como la mía, harías ABSOLUTAMENTE TODO para no verla sufrir. Por eso estoy haciendo esto...

El mes pasado, a mi mamá le diagnosticaron cáncer de páncreas en etapa 3. Mi familia y yo nos movimos rápidamente y hemos explorado todas las opciones disponibles para ayudarla. Si sabes algo sobre el cáncer, sabes que el de páncreas no es uno que quieras tener: te dicen que las tasas de supervivencia son mínimas y que avanza rápido. Por eso hemos encontrado maneras alternativas de ayudarla en su camino de fe hacia la sanidad. Además de un cambio completo de estilo de vida y dieta, y las opciones de quimioterapia, hemos encontrado un centro de cáncer que ayuda a pacientes como ella a sanar. Creemos que DIOS ya la está sanando y que Él QUIERE sanarla por completo. Para guiarla en esa dirección, me acerco a esta comunidad para pedir ayuda para financiar esta oportunidad de sanación para mi mamá y unirme a mis hermanas, mi papá y yo en proveerle todos los recursos para sanar. Aunque estamos cubriendo muchos de los gastos, simplemente no es suficiente y los gastos médicos se acumulan rápidamente. Así que te pido tu apoyo y te hago una pregunta: Si esta fuera tu mamá... ¿donarías?

Que Dios bendiga y recompense a todos los que donen y compartan esto, y que también se regocijen en el testimonio de sanidad.
