The family wishes to thank you deeply for your love, attention, and donations.

Jenny and Jim were enjoying a California coast vacation together when tragically Jim passed away unexpectedly. He lived a lifetime with his beautiful wife and soul mate Jenny. This July 27th, they would have celebrated 20 years of marriage and 2022 is their 29th year of loving each other. They are a beautiful example of true love, commitment, and a life well lived in companionship and understanding.

Our community is devastated at this massive loss. Jim was a dedicated teacher who was loved by all of his students and families for not only making science exciting and fun, but connecting with everyone on an intellectual, yet playful level.

We will miss him dearly. We also know that life for Jenny is forever changed.

They commuted daily from Grass Valley to the Tahoe Basin to teach in the mountains that held the students they love so dearly. It's our turn to give back.

The average cost for a California funeral and burial is almost $12,000.

To ease her burden and allow her to focus on healing with family and friends is a start.
