Help with The Worst Day of My Brother's Life
This is my older brother (B ♡). He was at a friend's with his girlfriend when he lost his life. He was shot numerous (5 plus) times and had lost his life. Thankfully, the paramedics were able to revive him. He lost a ton of blood. Once he got to the hospital, he had a 7 hour surgery, unable to communicate, crashing blood pressure, and hooked up to a ventilator. Since that he has had another three 5 hour surgeries. His stomach had to remain open for almost a week. He has a broken femur along with nerve damage. as well as 2 holes from the bullets in his right arm which is dominant side. Not to mention the additional hole in his leg and the mental trauma from this horrific event. Even though we have our brother-sister rivalry, he is a kind-hearted person and I love him!
**UPDATE HE US FINALLY OUT OF ICU**
Even though the staff has been wonderful, recovery is a challenging. The expenses for his medical care are significantly increasing daily, which is why we are setting up a fund to cover his ongoing medical costs as well as for PT/OT rehabilitation.
We're not typically the ones to ask for help, but it's definetly needed this time. For him. I know the saying "anything helps" is a pretty common phrase, but we truly mean that. God Bless You All!
