Hello friends,
As most of you know, the Lord blessed me with the opportunity to go to Bethel Church's "WorshipU School of Worship" this Summer in Redding, California. I will be gone for 2 weeks in July and am raising support to get there!
What is WorshipU?
WorshipU is a worship school that Bethel Church, a church that has written and recorded many songs we sing in church today, started a few years ago. Every summer, Bethel Worship host's a two week training camp for Worship Leaders all around the globe. They provide music classes for just about every instrument, classes on what it means to be a worship leader, recording classes/pro-tools classes, and song-writing classes. These classes are all taught by their own worship leaders and Bethel has just announced that this year, HILLSONG UNITED, KARI JOBE, and TIM HUGHES will be joining us for worship as well as teaching classes! I have included a link to WorshipU with more information.
What this Means for Me
Those of you that know me, know that leading God's people into worship of Jesus our Savior through song is something I feel called to, something I am extremely passionate about, and something that is a huge part of my life. To be able to spend time with incredible, godly worship leaders that have truly changed my life and pointed me towards Christ, and to grow as a worship leader, vocalist, and further understand what it means to lead others into worship, is SUCH an incredible opportunity I never imagined I would have. It is all HANDS DOWN thanks to Jesus.
What I am Needing
1. PRAYER
-More than anything, I need your prayers. Prayers that the Lord will be preparing my heart for what He has for me, that He will provide a way for me to go, and above all, that through this journey more people will come to know Christ and be able to join in our worship of Him!
2. I need financial support.
-This money will ONLY go towards the cost of the camp, transportation, food, and lodging.
Lastly
Leading worship is something that has been written on my heart for as long as I can remember. Like so many of you, some of my favorite times with the Lord have been through worship and my heart is to see many more experience Him. Experience our Jesus.
