Hi, I'm Charlie, an Australian-licensed veterinarian with four years of experience in emergency medicine. After having a break for a few years, I'm starting a new project: traveling to volunteer my veterinary skills with animal welfare organizations around the world, and using this platform to spotlight the charities and nonprofits doing that work — and help raise money for them.

At each stop, I'll be volunteering hands-on with local vet clinics, rescues, and wildlife organizations. Every leg of the trip gets its own update here — introducing the charity, showing the work up close, and giving you a direct way to support them.

Every dollar raised goes to the featured charities and nonprofits, not to my travel or living costs — I'm covering those myself so your donation goes where it's needed. Donation amounts to each organization are based on what they tell me they actually need, and I'll post the receipt or confirmation for every payment I make, so you can see exactly where the money went.
