Hi, My name is Jorge Marcos Aballi Borges.
Every year the best triathletes around the world meet to compete at The World’s Triathlon Championship. Thanks to my results over the last few years, I have qualified to represent The Bahamas at this world-class event in Lausanne, Switzerland this year.
Triathlon is the combination of three different sports (swimming, cycling, running) put together in one final race. It takes your physical and mental capacities to the limits as an athlete.
Reaching the highest level of competition has always been my dream. I started training for triathlons back home in Cuba when I was a teenager. However, training for and competing in Triathlons are very expensive and my family couldn’t afford it; so I wasn’t able to go much further with the sport.
After I moved to The Bahamas, I started training and competing again, achieving titles like The National Champion two years in a row, and representing The Bahamas internationally.
The World’s Triathlon Championship takes place at the end of August, this year. Your monetary support will help me to accomplish my dream. My goal is to raise $10,000. I have already raised $6,000. With your help, I will be able to reach my goal. Thank you for your time and consideration.
