World Theater Fringe Fest

Hi there! My name is Hannah Hart, and I am a third-year student at CSUF! I am beyond thrilled to be enrolled in CSUF's Devised Theater/ Physical Performance BFA as of this school year! I am fundraising to support my journey to World Theater Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland! My cohorts and I are going to perform an original piece At Fringe Fest, where I will be featured as an ASL Performer. At Fringe Fest, hundreds of artists and performers take to stages all over the city, presenting shows of every kind. We will also enjoy and study all of the traditional and abstract elements of performing. I am so grateful for the invitation into this project at CSUF!

Any proceeds raised will be used to cover the costs of my transportation, hotel stays, food, activities, and additional unplanned expenses regarding the trip. Any amount you are willing to contribute is greatly appreciated, and if not, please consider sharing this with friends and family!

About My Theater History

My passion for live theater has grown over many years with the help of tons of participation. I have participated in Plays, Musicals, One-Acts, Dance, and Choir. In 2021 I started taking classes at College of the Sequoias. While attending, I began working as a Theater Technician at VUSD. When I moved to Long Beach, I continued my studies to receive my Associates Degree from Long Beach City College. While at LBCC, I joined their Theater Tech team as well! I simultaneously worked at the Long Beach Convention Center, as well as freelance opportunities in Torrance and Costa Mesa, and LA. Over the last summer, I got the opportunity to be the Intern for Shakespeare by the Sea! SBTS is a touring non-profit organization founded in San Pedro. STBS toured to 15 different cities in LA and Orange Counties during the 2023 season! I spent most evenings preparing for the shows by making coffee, helping collect donations, loading in/out concessions and merch, and being a runner. Not only am I pursuing a future in Theater, I have also been studying American Sign Language. After I receive my BFA, I plan to get certified as an ASL Interpreter. Throughout these theater jobs and schooling, I also was a Starbucks barista, a server, and a nanny! Putting myself though college has been strenuous, but I take pride in my ability to work diligently, tirelessly, and with passion. I am continuing to work as much as possible to achieve my goal of attending Fringe Fest with my peers. My experience in all aspects of theater has been very fulfilling, and have given me so much excitement for my bright future in Theater Arts!
