Hello, my name is Sandra, and I am fundraising in support of the Audrey Sickle Cell Foundation’s World Sickle Cell Day awareness campaign in Nigeria.

Sickle cell disease affects millions of people worldwide, and Nigeria carries one of the highest burdens of this condition. Through this campaign, we aim to raise awareness, educate communities, encourage early testing, and support individuals and families living with sickle cell disease.

The funds raised will help cover the costs of awareness materials, community outreach programmes, educational resources, event logistics, and, most importantly, the procurement of routine medications for beneficiaries of the Foundation. Donations will also help alleviate the medical expenses of individuals living with sickle cell disease who require urgent support.

I am organizing this fundraiser in the United Kingdom on behalf of the Audrey Sickle Cell Foundation, a charity organisation. All donations will be transferred directly to support the foundation’s activities in Nigeria, and updates will be provided to donors on how the funds are used and the impact achieved.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us reach more people, spread awareness, and support a healthier future for those affected by sickle cell disease.
