World Shorebirds Day

World Shorebirds Day is an awareness initiative about the conservation of shorebirds, the importance of citizen science and also about research. World Shorebirds Day held every year on the 6th of September worldwide since 2014. There is no organisation behind World Shorebirds Day yet. The event was launched and run by Gyorgy Szimuly, a shorebird conservationist.

The World Shorebirds Day website is under constant construction and updating. It is managed by Gyorgy Szimuly. Despite having limited resources for living, he uses his own financial assets for coordinating and promoting this event and maintaining this website the best possible way.

If you would spare at least the price of a coffee and donated it for covering the costs of this website and other marketing efforts through the year, that would ensure further developments and higher contribution rate to our main program. Thank you!
