Hi My name is Martha Shongwe, I 'm raising funds for my event that happening on the 10th of October 2025 in South Africa to challenge the stigma around mental health. According to recent statistics released by the South African Depression and Anxiety Group, more than 1,400 young people in South Africa have taken their own life in 2025 alone shocking and heartbreaking figure that should never be treated as just a number. I spoke to young people in South Africa, what I found is that many of young people said they don't ask for help because of the stigma around mental health and often no safe space available or suitable for their need. I am doing events to tackle stigma that young people are experiencing around mental health and improve wellbeing.
