The location in Longwood where World KM Taekwondo (Martial Arts School) resides experienced an unfortunate fire that consumed half of the building, which has since been deemed condemned by the local fire department. This forced me to immediately move my martial arts school to a temporary, smaller location. With the help of a few parents and students we were able to get everything moved over and ready within a day's notice in order to continue business as usual with after school pick up and daily classes for both adults and children.
The new location didn't come with bathrooms or any walls to divide the location properly. I had to personally come up with all the materials to build everything from the ground up in the new location, using from my own personal finances to make all this happen. I felt it was necessary to do this so I could continue providing after-school care and classes to my community that I love and respect. I am not one to typically ask for help, because I always find a way, but this was out of my control and I truly need the help at this time.
I am asking for financial help from my community and anyone else willing to help out. I have been a huge part of the Longwood, Florida community in Seminole County for over 10 years! I have every desire to stay in business and continue to provide an exceptional service to adults and kids in need of discipline, respect, self-confidence, focus, and weight loss. I teach because I love what I do. I push everyone beyond their limitations to show them that they must earn everything they want in life. In my 18+ years of experience, I have seen many kids grow up to become teachers, game developers, doctors, nurses, firefighters, service men & women in our armed forces, etc. I would love to have the opportunity to continue providing the light that makes them shine the most by instilling a "YES I CAN" attitude for our future adults and leaders.
