I am a Type1 Diabetic Pastry Chef. I work as a chocolatier and pastry chef with Food dudes at Hotel X, Toronto. In October 2021, I claimed victory at the national selection competition for the World Chocolate Masters and will represent Canada in Paris, France at the global competition to be held in October 2022.
I am raising money to support a full year of focused training, so I can win the competition in Paris 2022. The funds we raise together will support my training in Montreal; including my travel and accommodation back and forth from the training facility. Funds will also relieve the financial pressure of having to earn money for food and lodging and the medical expenses associated with my Type 1 Diabetes. What I need most is to focus on building world class chocolate sculptures - as many as one per week, as I prepare for the rigorous competition ahead. Your financial support will free up my time so that I can train, so that I can win!
