Hello everyone!
This past June I qualified for a spot on Team Canada to compete at the World Mountain Running Championships. I placed 3rd for Canada women at the Quebec MegaTrail Race (approx. 11km) at Mont Saint Anne, Quebec, securing me a spot in Argentina this November 2019. I will be racing approx. 10km in Villa La Angostura, Argentina on Saturday, November 15th, 2019 at the 35th World Mountain Running Championships. My accommodations and meals are covered by the organization but I will have to pay for my plane ticket which has a hefty $2000 USD price tag. I am hoping to fundraise some of the cost in order to be able to attend. This is my first mountain running world championship and my 3rd time competing internationally. I have competed at Francophone Games in Africa in 2017 and then in 2016 for Team Alberta in Europe. I am really hoping to make this trip a real possibility with the help of my family and friends. I would not have been able to compete for Team Canada in Europe (2016) if it was not for the financial support I received from everyone. This competition is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to compete once again on the world stage but for the first time in South America. Thank-you!
