Hi,
my name is Gabriele Venturino and I'm an Italian sailor from Celle Ligure, near Genova. I just finished school and I got the opportunity to start at the World Championship in Waszp class this summer - in Norway!
Sandefjord, Norway, from the 31st of July to the 11th of August
The races will take part from the 5th to the 10th of August, and the other days will be training days for me with my teammates.
On the Waszp I'm sailing alone and the particularity about this is that she "flies" due her foils, these are wings under the rudder and the centre board that permit to the boat to take off lake an airplane.
I'm always focused on my goals and trying to be one of the best sailor in this category as it's very exciting for me.
I'm looking forward to finding support for my biggest goal this year - the World Championship!
Only the inscription for the regatta and the travel to Norway costs together almost 1000 Euros and the stayover for more than 10 days with food and accommodation again around 1000 Euros.
It would be a big support if you help me to follow my dream to sail in Norway against the best Waszp sailors in a fleet of 180 boats. The preparation started already last winter with a lot of training in Imperia and Genova and during the spring and summer I'm participating 4 races to prepare me in the best way.
Now I'm in La Grande Motte in France for the French Championship, preparing myself to fight at the Worlds in August.
I will give everything and all my strengths to be the best and perform in Norway on my best level.

mi chiamo Gabriele Venturino e sono un velista italiano di Celle Ligure, vicino a Genova. Ho appena finito la scuola e avrò l'opportunità di partecipare al Campionato del Mondo della classe Waszp quest'estate - in Norvegia!
Sandefjord, Norvegia, dal 31 luglio all'11 agosto.
Le gare si svolgeranno dal 5 al 10 agosto, mentre gli altri giorni saranno di allenamento per me con i miei compagni di squadra.
Sul Waszp navigo da solo e la particolarità è che "vola" grazie ai suoi foil, ali sotto il timone e la deriva che permettono alla barca di decollare come un aereo.
Sono sempre concentrato sui miei obiettivi e ce la sto mettendo tutta per diventare uno dei migliori velisti in questa categoria e il che è molto eccitante per me.
Non vedo l'ora di trovare un sostegno per il mio più grande obiettivo di quest'anno: il Campionato del Mondo!
Solo l'iscrizione alla regata e il viaggio in Norvegia costano insieme quasi 1000 euro e il soggiorno per più di 10 giorni con vitto e alloggio circa 1000 euro.
Sarebbe un grande aiuto se mi aiutaste a realizzare il mio sogno di navigare in Norvegia contro i migliori velisti in una flotta di 180 barche. La preparazione è iniziata già lo scorso inverno con molti allenamenti a Imperia e Genova, da questa primavera ho già partecipato a 3 regate, la prossima sarà a Dongo, sul lago di Como, queste competizioni mi sono servite e mi saranno utili per una preparazione più completa possibile per l’evento più importante dell’anno.
Ora sono a La Grande Motte in Francia per il Campionato Francese, per prepararmi a combattere ai Mondiali di agosto.
Darò tutte le mie forze per essere il migliore e per regatare nei migliori di modi in Norvegia.
