Hi everyone!

Last August I was lucky enough to win the Bowls England National Singles title at the Aviva National Championships (nobody was more surprised than me, believe me!). By winning this title, I am now eligible to participate in the World Bowls Champion of Champions Singles, representing England, in November 2024. A dream come true for me, not least due to the fact that it is being held in Auckland, New Zealand!

However, dreams aside, the funding for players has, unfortunately, been removed and I have to fund this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity myself. In previous years World Bowls has covered the accommodation costs for competitors, but this is no longer the case. On top of that, Bowls England's contribution has also been halved and is just £500. As you can imagine, flying to the other side of the world is going to cost a fair bit more than the £500 donation from Bowls England.

Therefore, I am looking to raise around £2000 to help pay for the flights, accommodation and living costs whilst I am out in New Zealand; so if anyone would like to make a donation I'd be extremely grateful. Anything you can give, no matter how large or small, will go a long way in helping me get to New Zealand for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
