Hi, my name is Kieran.

I’m raising funds to take part in the 2027 World Challenge Tour to Cambodia, an incredible two-week adventure that’s so much more than just a school trip abroad.

The World Challenge is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for students to explore new cultures, learn about sustainability, and make a real impact while developing valuable life skills. During the expedition, a group of like-minded students (including me!) will backpack across Cambodia, taking part in community projects and learning teamwork, problem-solving, and independence — all under the guidance of experienced leaders.

During this journey, we will be doing a number of things which benefit both the environment and locals. Just a few thing are: Honeybear sanctuary work (working with the workers to help the vulnerable species), helping counter deforestation with plantation, helping locals and much much more! We hope to make an impact and inspire other young children to go on this journey. Other people who have participated in other trips describe it as "enlightening" and "humbling", and i cant wait to see these for myself.

For me, this journey is an investment in my learning and my future.

The total cost of the expedition is £4,500 (which is a whole lot as a 13 year old!) , and I’m working hard to raise the funds through things like car boot sales, dog walking, and helping my neighbours with jobs around their homes and gardens. My parents are encouraging me to really think outside the box about fundraising.

So far, fundraising has taught me a lot about budgeting, responsibility, and perseverance — but I still have a way to go! That’s why I’m reaching out for your support. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward project materials, food, and accommodation during the trip.
