On the 28th of September I am running in the River Ness 10k, part of the Baxter’s Running Festival to raise money for my World Challenge Expedition next summer. This will be my first 10k event and I will be training very hard over the next month. The trip is a 20-night World Challenge Expedition to Eswatini and Mozambique with around 20 pupils from my school, Millburn Academy. On the trip I will be trekking the Lubombo Trail, taking part in marine conservation, and supporting local community projects. It’s a student-led trip that will help me build on many important skills such as resilience, teamwork and leadership. I’m very grateful to have the opportunity to take part in something like this and any donations towards this amazing experience would be hugely appreciated!
