World Bench Championship

Hi, my name is Eilin, and I am a powerlifter.

British Powerlifting have offered me a position to represent Great Britain in Bench Press at the World benchpress Championships in May.

I have previously competed successfully at the British Juniors, placing 3rd, Scottish Universities, placing 1st and British Benchpress championship, placing 2nd. This will be my second international for benchpress, after placing 1st at the Commonwealth championships last October.

Powerlifting is a largely underfunded sport in this country, us athletes need to pay for our kit and travel to and from Norway as well as our accommodation whilst there.

The overall estimate is up to around £1000 for flights, accommodation and kit, so any donation would help me make it there.
