Hi Everyone! As you may or may not know, our dear friend Petey Woelfling experienced a spontaneous collapsed lung back in February with long-lasting symptoms and chronic pain. His condition and pain level have severely hindered his ability to work and function, making everyday tasks and situations extremely challenging. He has had multiple visits to the ER and has braved through many different procedures including two nerve blocks and an ablation to help bring some relief, all without success. Next step and last resort, is to be seen and treated at The Mayo Clinic. With the amount of medical attention he has needed, mixed with the inability to work, bills and expenses have been piling up. He has not been able to work for the last 9 months and is currently ineligible for unemployment and disability. Due to his physical condition, his mental wellness has drastically declined resulting in depression and severe anxiety.

This journey has been incredibly taxing on him and it is far from over. He has a long road ahead of him as far as finding a solution, regaining his strength and natural body weight, physical therapy and the possibility of a detox program due to the generous amount of prescribed medications.

I am reaching out to his friends and family to rally around Pete and help take some of the financial burden and stress off of him. Any amount is greatly appreciated and if we all chip in together it could really make a lasting impact on him and help raise his spirits and alleviate some of his anxieties. It has been quite the journey for him, mentally and physically. Everyone needs help from time to time, this is our calling to help someone who wouldn’t think twice to help us.
