Working to bring Ralph home!

My name is Jami, and I’ve created this page on behalf of Ralph Dickey as a continuation of his previous GoFundMe (due to some techie issues, had to create a new one. If you previously donated, THANK YOU!!)

In 2005, Ralph was sentenced to 72 years in prison for three drug charges—an excessive sentence caused by a misinterpretation of the “habitual offender” enhancer. Though his past weighed heavily against him, and the justice system showed him little mercy, Ralph has consistently worked hard to successfully transform his life. He’s become a role model to others, completed countless courses, and continues to create breathtaking artwork from within prison walls.

Over the past four years, I’ve come to know Ralph very well, and have witnessed the impact of this injustice on his life first hand. We’ve been doing everything we can to help—working with attorneys, researching legal avenues, and always showing him love and support. Thanks to recent changes in Colorado legislation, Ralph FINALLY has a real chance at a re-sentencing hearing that could bring him home. We’ve found a law firm with a strong track record in cases like his, and now we need your help to make this happen.
