It is difficult to find a job in Liberia, one of Africa's poorest countries. Jobs are always scarce, training is scarce too; most young Liberians are farmers, self-employed, or part-time workers, and can do much better when they improve their working skills. Easy access to completely FREE skills training, useful resources, and constant encouragement really helps. This is what we do.

More than 60% of Liberians have mobile phone connections and roughly 30% use the Internet. In terms of practical training, perhaps the most workable "tool" therefore is a completely FREE mobile phone app. OneLiberia's mobile apps deliver free skills training, ideas and tools, plus creating and organising useful resources on mobile phones and tablets, and by encouraging young Liberians, together with their families, friends, neighbours, and teachers, to take full advantage of OneLiberia's mobile apps and services.

OneLiberia works hard to reach, engage and encourage young Liberians who need it most. Skills are tailored to reach and encourage users to improve their working and personal skills and take advantage of opportunities in Liberia's cities, towns and rural areas.

Here is what we can do with your donation:

• Create, curate, manage and continuously improve, modify, and upgrade working skills suitable overall, or for specific Liberian areas.

• Design and present skills, information and resources to be appealing.

• Enable us to reach, connect and encourage those who need it most. Help them improve current skills and learn new, more useful skills.

• Help them to figure out what goods or services are needed in their local area, and how to Stand Out facing local competition.

• Build a growing library of related, useful resources and support tools.

Helping self-employed, unemployed and part-time workers improve their skills, learn new skills and opportunities, along with strong encouragement and support, benefits young Liberians and their communities. Your contribution of any size is so important.

Donors contributing US$100 (and with their signed approval) will be credit-listed as 'Friends' on a selected skill. Those contributing US$250 or more will receive a Liberian cookbook.
