Hi, Tim and Leann here. Our good friends Lindsay and Stephen are in trouble. Stephen is a gifted carpenter who designs and builds furniture, mainly for schools. Sadly his work van was stolen from outside their home in Minneapolis last Monday. Though the van was recovered by police, the thieves had stripped it for parts, effectively destroying it. A total loss.

Lindsay is a teacher but her income is not enough to support their household, which includes their son David who is in his first year of kindergarten. Stephen's income is vital. The thieves also got away with many of Stephen's carpentry tools. Leann and I started this gofundme to get Stephen back to work as quickly as possible by replacing his van.

Stephen is unable to work at all without his van as it is needed to transport the materials and tools for his current jobs. Stephen is still growing his small business, so time is of the essence as he gains a reputation for his great work.

Even a used cargo van that has never been in an accident is very expensive! It is important to us that this vehicle is safe and reliable for Stephen and his family. Our goal of $35,000 is at the lower end of pricing for safe cargo vans less than 10 years old. This is a huge expense. Any help you can give this generous, loving family is greatly appreciated!
