Help With Breast Cancer Treatments

Dear Kind Supporters,

I am reaching out to you because I have been facing a long challenging journey. I was diagnosed with breast cancer, a diagnosis that has brought not only emotional turmoil but financial strain as it takes lots of energy and costs to fight it in ways that insurance does not cover per the NIH guidelines. But the challenges don't stop there; I also require shoulder replacement surgery, a procedure critical for alleviating the pain I've endured for years to the point of extreme limited mobility as of October 2022. I have to find a breast cancer surgeon who will work with a shoulder replacement surgeon because they both on the same side of the body.

The road ahead is tough. The combination of battling breast cancer and undergoing shoulder replacement surgery means a long and arduous recovery period. I have to pay for breast cancer tests and treatments that are best for the human body, but are not covered by health insurance.

I will face months of treatment, rehabilitation, and healing, during which I was told that I would not be able to work or even drive. Right now my work is limited with chronic shoulder pain where bone against bone without any cartliage inhibits being able to use it very much since October 2022 after many years of pain and mobility challenges. The shoulder finally broke down completely, however, at the same time I had learned that I have breast cancer.

I'm doing everything I can for many months now to fight the cancer (vitamins, garlic, onions, low to no sugar, etc) while trying to work with a food delivery app but my very old car kept needing work, had very bad gas mileage, and then finally the transmission broke down. I don't have any car now accept a rental where I am trying to make enough to save for another car, but the rental is too expensive. The rental office closed down witout notice after I rented it and the next office is 50 miles away per the app. I would like to work on increasing income by continuing to work in the courier business for the time being. I know where the risk of danger is so I avoid those areas more at night as much as possible which does limit some jobs. I applied for another courier gig yesterday so am waiting for them to approve me.

If I return the rental next Tuesday when it is due and while my January and February apartment rents are not yet paid, it will be devestating here in the cold winter. The next rental location being 50 miles away means I will have to figure out how to get home also. I do not have any family or friends to count on in such situations. I'm used to trying to handle life on my own because I always had to emotionally since age 7. I apologize ahead of time if my social skills are rusty.

The loss of income right now will bring only homelessness which is very dangerous in my medical situation. The breast cancer tumor is also very painful everyday. Local homeless shelters are not clean or safe enough for my medical conditions. The processed foods would fuel the cancer also which I am afraid of as well. I would also lose everything I own which is not much now after losing a lot already, but I prefer to work to keep everything intact while working on these challenges.

This is where I need your help. I am initiating this fundraiser to support me through these trying times. Your generous donations will go directly towards:

1. Covering medical expenses: tests, medications, and hospital stays to fight the breast cancer first.

2. Helping with daily living costs during recovery, when I will be limited with work opportunities and emotionally stressed as I to to many more medical appointments during recovery of both surgeries. Hopefully I can focus more on healing without additional financial stress.

My main goal is to find a way to keep working, even if from home of which I have done previously also. Working from home on any job takes lots of time to setup because of training time and the work it takes before any income comes in.
