Help keep the oceans clean and let the wild be wild!
Hi everyone, my name is Cooper and I am 8 years old. My hero is Sir David Attenborough and my dream is to be like him one day! I really love the ocean and all the amazing animals that live in it, like turtles, dolphins, sharks and colourful fish. But the ocean is getting dirty, and that’s really sad because it hurts the animals and plants there. That’s why I’m raising money to help the Marine Conservation Society — they work hard to keep the oceans clean and protect all the creatures living in them.
I will be spending my summer holidays travelling to different places and cleaning up as much litter and rubbish as I possibly can. I’ll be going to different beaches, reservoirs, lakes, ponds, rivers and canals and taking lots of photos showing my adventures in keeping the marine and aquatic animals habitats clean!
Even a little bit of money can help a lot. I want to make a difference, but I can’t do it alone. If you help me, we can protect the ocean together and make sure it stays beautiful and healthy for everyone, including all the fish and sea turtles I love so much.
Thank you so much for reading and for helping me with this. It means a lot to me and to the ocean! Let’s work together to keep our blue planet safe and happy!
More information about Marine Conservation Society: Our ocean is at a tipping point. Right now, we're polluting our waters and destroying precious habitats. We're harming the species that live there. It's reducing the ocean's ability to help fight the climate crisis. We're determined to change this. The Marine Conservation Society is fighting for a cleaner, better protected, healthier ocean; one we can all enjoy. Together with communities, businesses and governments, we can make a difference.
