On Saturday January 16th, 2016, Word Art by ShalomIsrael will be hosting it's 3rd annual Art gallery event & fashion show! Dozens of friends, family, collegues and their guests are invited to gather and browse new and old works from Word Art by ShalomIsrael and enjoy the debut of a brand new collection: ASStrological Men & Women clothing, hot on the runway. Guests will also enjoy the beautiful movements of Kgari Contemporay Dance Theater dancing works for the first time. Word Art by ShalomIsrael usually hosts gallery events from the convenience of her cozy apartment. This year, she is taking the gallery outside of her home to Gibney Dance: Agnes Varis Performing Arts Center in lower Manhattan.
By moving her gallery to this beautiful location Word Art by ShalomIsrael is able to cater to a larger audience, set the stage for two new product lines as well as collaborate with Kgari Contemporary Dance Theater. ShalomIsrael's vision is growing and so must the environment in which she shares this vision.
How You Can Help
Word Art by ShalomIsrael is seeking funding to support the production of this amazing evening. Your contributions will go towards the, labor, art supplies, dancers, transportation of the art and products for display, dj as well as the reception. Most importantly the funding allows ShalomIsrael to house such an important moment in such an amazing space, Gibney Dance. The goal is to recieve your contributions up to New Years Eve, December 31, 2015.

Word Art by ShalomIsrael is meant to inspire positivity, gratitude, joy and love into our daily routines. The artwork should be placed where you will see it everyday. Through ritual, we create habit and through the habit of positive reminders we can learn joy and peace. Word Art by ShalomIsrael turns your internal thought process, mantra, quote, favorite saying, poem or group of words into beautiful images.
E.E.a.SE. Alpha Cards
A for Apple...B for Ball...C for Cat...while these inanimate objects are important to a childs development, ShalomIsrael decided to take learning one step further. A for Achieve...B for Bold...C for Caring. Assigning ideas, feelings and actions to each letter of the alphabet, it is ShalomIsrael's hope that children will develope a deeper understanding from the time they begin to learn to read.The emphasis of these cards is on learning empathy, emotion, positive expression and support for self and others. Your contributions will also go towards funding the printing process for these special and unique cards. It is the goal of Word Art by ShalomIsrael to bring these cards into elementary classrooms, daycares and to high school students with learning disabilities.
Who We Are
Word Art by ShalomIsrael was created because of ShalomIsrael's love for creating uplifting colorful images and shapes with words. ShalomIsrael strives to be an inspiration to those around her everyday. Her goal is to be able to positively impact adults and young people through her art work. Inspired from her mother's artwork she created Word Art by ShalomIsrael.
