Worcester Prison Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to offer religious services and guidance to the inmates housed at the Worcester County House of Correction (WCHC) located in West Boylston, MA.
The administration at WCHC has approved of our plans, and have allowed us to plan on using a tract of land in the midst of several housing units. This separate worship space, prominent among the other buildings in the institution, would be a constant reminder to all of the need to turn to a higher power.
Our main goal in 2019 is to fund the building of this non-denominational Chapel on the grounds of WCHC . Our hope is to privately raise funds to put up a separate building for use solely for religious programs
You can help us in a couple ways:
Prayers are the primary source of grace as we continue our work.
More importantly we need funds if we are ever to make this dream possible. We intend to build, inside the prison walls, a stand-alone non-denominational chapel. It will be available to any and all religious volunteers, and restricted to them alone. We are a small group trying to do this huge endeavor. We need $500,000+ to complete the project. We hope and pray you can join us and support this vital ministry in our community
