Wop’s Rehabilitation

My name is Brandon Edwards. I’m from Shreveport, La. I’m writing on behalf of my 31y/o brother Charles Dittler. On Tuesday Jan. 30th my brother’s life changed forever. He was hanging out with family and friends that evening around a bonfire. He went to rekindle the fire but made the mistake of pouring the gas directly out of the gas can onto the fire. The flames followed the gas back into the can and exploded. My brother has 3rd degree burns from the waist up and significant damage to his left hand. My brother’s physical appearance was changed forever that day. Mentally he’s been in great spirits, but physically some things he will have to re-train himself to do. Unfortunately my brother had just started his new job two months prior and  doesn’t qualify to receive insurance. That changed things majorly for his rehabilitation. Instead of 4 times a week, he only receives rehabilitation treatment once a week. Rehabilitation for burn patients is detrimental for them moving on with their lives in the future. I’m asking everyone to please donate what you can, whenever you can to help my brother get the rehab he needs, and the financial support to help in his hard times.
