On Saturday, November 10, 2018, one of Van Nuys High School's beloved dance Teachers, Mrs. Reesa Partida, came home to rubble. She, like many others, became yet another victim of the Woolsey Fires in Southern California; her and her husband's home burned to the ground. She loves those mountains more than most, and I do not know anyone else who spent so much time appreciating their beauty; hiking, biking, running, etc. The day before, she came to school to dance with her classes because "what good would it do to sit [at an evacuation center] and just watch the news" (Reesa Partida). My team (Elizabeth Talledo, Chelsea Saldana and Madison Opalisky) and I, Brandon Large, are four of her students. It shatters my soul to see such a gold-hearted human being fall into such misfortune. Please help me to raise money and mend what she has lost. The money could aid Mrs. Reesa Partida's search for a new home, a new bike, a new aerial rig, or to pay the rent for a temporary home in the mean time. The money will go directly to Mrs. Partida from the campaign; she is the sole beneficiary. She has always been so strong for her students. Now, it is time for us to be strong for her! Thank you
