Woody’s Paradise Fire Victims Fund

When I started woody’s family home rebuild go fund me page after we lost our home, my soul intent was to provide the many friends and people that flooded my phone, Facebook and email with offers to help a means to help. As my wife and I had been blessed to have had insurance on our home and a little money set aside we know of many of our friends, (as well as our daughter) who didn’t have insurance and it was that knowledge that prompted me to launch that page in the hopes that we could help my daughter replace at least some of what she lost as well as help other victims of this most destructive fire. Those that know me and my wife know that we are giving people yet some have questioned my intent and accused me of some very negative things like trying to double dip or scam the system so let this new effort and page set the record straight. All of the funds from this campaign will be used to provide our daughter and others that lost everything and have no insurance all the support we can share with them. My wife and I do not plan to use any of the funds on ourselves I was only trying to give those that reached out to me a means to help. This is my home, my community that I have served for the past 38 years as a volunteer and 12 years as a councilman and those that questioned my motives are just wrong ... for those that made donations we are extremely thankful and those that are considering continued help your donations will be passed on to those with the greatest needs.
