Woody and Amanda

Hi everyone! This fundraiser is for Woody and Amanda.

Just last week, Woody was admitted to the hospital due to complications with a heart pump that he has had for some time now. Woody has had congestive heart failure for 7 years and because of this has had to have a Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) put in to assure that he can have proper blood flow. Woody has undergone 2 prior surgeries to insert these pumps, each on having malfunctioned and the most up to date one put in.

Doctors have now informed the couple that Woody is in need of a third surgery/pump replacement because of blood clots within the pump reducing his blood flow.

Because of this surgery and extended hospital stay, Woody will be out of work minimum for 2 months, possibly longer if there are any complications.

Woody and Amanda both work full time to support their household including Amanda's 2 children.

As we all know, the strain of losing one income, even for a couple of weeks can be devastating on a family.

The purpose for this account is to help them with their cost of living so that is one less thing they have to worry about while they are going through this process.
