Hi, My name is Pat and I am setting up this Go Fund me page for my Uncle that passed away late last night.

He was born 9/9/1941 so he was 81 years old. He was a Veteran of the US Army studying Communications. After his terms in the Army, He married Phyllis C. Calhoun 8/22/1962 and they were together for 61 years and She’s been suffering from memory loss and a form of dementia for awhile. Their union produced 4 living children and a set of twin boys they lost at birth. He worked at the Joliet Arsenal until it closed and then worked at Kraft until he retired. Subsequently he worked small jobs at Walmart during his retirement.

Not long ago, they lost their oldest son Curtis, but there 3 girls, Kimberly, Linda snd Theresa are living and well.

So, he had long and hard blue collar jobs most of his life working long hours. But, what he didn’t plan for was the days when he would pass away and prepare for things of this nature. We believe that he may be eligible for a small death benefit from the Veterans Affairs but no life insurance and no money put aside for final expenses. Phyllis will be unable to manage alone as she’s not functioning for normal activities of daily living and needs a caretaker of some type. The girls aren’t financially able to take care of both Phyllis’s current situation and the finances of Woodrow’s final expenses.

We are hoping that people will see that the girls are in need of help from anyone that can give a little bit to help a Veteran that served the country and it’s only worth a $255 death benefit.

any help will be appreciated and 100% of everything received will be going to Linda Carmon that’s overseeing everything and trying to get her Dad’s affairs in order and get her Mom’s situation sorted out so she will be safe until her time comes to meet our Lord.
