Thank you for visiting our campaign regarding our beloved friends at Woodleaf. There is no denying that Woodleaf is a special and holy place. It has been a place where teenagers (and adults!) have encountered Christ for the first time for generations. But what makes Woodleaf so special is the people who have given their lives, talents, and time to serve each person who steps on property. Unfortunately, due to the financial impact of COVID, several of our friends lost their jobs at Woodleaf in late August.

It's likely that if you've spent time at camp you have been directly served by Ryan Green, Ted Freemyer, Patty Geist, and Amanda Metropoulos. They've done late night blanket runs for our kids who are cold, stayed up til 1 a.m. taking down the carnival, run all over camp looking for batteries for who knows what, made sure all lights were off during all-camp-quiet, washed the laundry of campers who were in desperate need, and thus have widened our scope of who Jesus Christ is while doing so. Overall, they have deeply impacted our field ministry and made it more accessible for our teenage friends to encounter Jesus. They will be truly, truly missed. 

This campaign will provide funds for the immediate needs of these friends. The needs vary from person to person, and funds raised will be distributed in a way that reflects those needs. Thank you for helping us love and send off our Woodleaf family well.
