Hi, my name is Denise Stone and I work as the Educational Visits Co-Ordinator at Woodfield School for special needs with students who have severe learning and physical needs. Our students are from 3 years to 19 years old and come from the local area as well as further afield.

We are trying to raise funds to purchase our own fully accessible mini bus so we are able to take our students out into the local community and further afield. This will increase their self confidence in being out of a school environment, experiencing important life skills, visiting places of interest to support their curriculum etc. gaining some independence.

Any monies raised will go towards the cost of purchasing a new mini bus for the school, this is not the only platform that we are using to raise money, we have collecting tins in the businesses local to our school, and are holding a charity auction night to have a big push on raising the funds.
